Monifieth Eco Force

18 March 2024 By Donna

We promote the study of ecology and bio diversity within Monifieth and the surrounding district. We raise public awareness of the importance of ecology and bio diversity and the surrounding community. We encourage and support people and groups who are concerned about environmental issues. We organise environmental projects which enhance the community, e.g. beach enhancement, nature trails, and the conservation of native wild flowers and the protection of wild life. We adhere to the principles and criteria of the Keep Scotland Beautiful organisation. We facilitate communication between members of the group and decision makers in the public, private and governmental sectors. We act as a liaison with local government authorities and to work together with like minded groups and organisations. We participate in any activities or events which will further the cause of the group, including fund raising.

About

Bioregioning reframes the way we see the places where we live and work, helping us reconnect to and restore the ecological systems of which we area part and upon which we all depend.
