Could you join our team to help co-found our Bioregional Finance Facility?

4 December 20254 December 2025 By Clare Cooper

For the past year, in cooperation with Dark Matter Labs, we have been building the foundations for the creation of a Bioregional Financing Facility (BFF) for the Tay Bioregion.

A BFF is an ecosystem of tools and institutions that can catalyse the flow of funds into and through the Bioregion, in a way that is aligned with the long-term health of our ecosystems and communities.

The BFF works through a series of innovations across 4 pillars: projects (supporting the development and raising awareness of regenerative projects in the Bioregion), intelligence (developing mechanisms to track bioregional health, identifying leverage points, translating outcomes into financials), governance (supporting community sensemaking to align on bioregional goals, creating a shared sense of stewardship, and aligning capital allocation with community priorities), and finance (developing mechanisms at different scales, aligning the needs of capital holders and the community).

Who we are looking for

To take the implementation of the Tay BFF to the next level, we are now looking for someone based in or around the bioregion who likes building things at the nexus of place-based regeneration, systems thinking, and finance.

Read the full role specification here.

About

Bioregioning reframes the way we see the places where we live and work, helping us reconnect to and restore the ecological systems of which we area part and upon which we all depend.
